Famed Asian Grocery chain 99 Ranch Market is set to open a new location in Houston soon. According to plans filed with the state, the new store will be located in The Pavilion Shopping Center at 12230 Westheimer Road. This will be the chain’s fourth location in the Greater Houston Area. Existing locations opened in Houston in 2008, in Sugar Land in 2009, and in Katy in 2016. 99 Ranch currently have 56 locations spread across the country.
99 Ranch Market, also known as Tawa Supermarket, specializes in Asian food items. According to their website, the chain offers online shopping and in-store pick-up at their stores. They also offer same-day delivery services at selected stores. New locations also feature food courts as a way to introduce customers to diverse Asian food culture.
Roger Chen first opened the chain in 1984 in Westminster CA . It has since gone on to become the largest Asian supermarket chain in the United States. They are currently based out of Buena Park CA.
What Now Houston reached out to 99 Ranch Market for further comment, but they have not replied back as of publication time.
