Alchemy Bake Lab serves custom dessert bars, mini cupcakes, cookies, tart cakes, and more. The brand touts itself as “Houston’s Mini Treat Dealer.” Alchemy Bake Lab has been catering events across the Houston area, as well as weddings in Dallas and Austin.

The gourmet spreads of mini treats can entice just about anyone to take a bite. The menu features flavors of Buttercream Brownies, sugar cookies, Vanilla Bourbon Cakelets, Oatmeal Cream Pies, and Brown Butter Krispy Treats. You can also order cake pops, macarons, and a variety of shooters such as Churro Dipping Cups and Peanut Butter Mud Pie.

Kady Miller is the owner of Alchemy Bake Lab, which also offers customizable mini treat boxes for guest gifts, favors, and door prizes. “I’m extremely excited to open our first brick-and-mortar. I’m humbled by it, and I understand a lot of amazing bakeries don’t get this opportunity. This is the moment I’ve been waiting for my entire life, and I can’t wait to share it with my family, team, and community,” Miller told What Now Houston.

The Alchemy Bake Lab will offer private dessert tastings and DIY baking classes for all ages. Miller also plans to sponsor bake sales where children can use them to raise funds for their causes. Miller plans to select a new non-profit organization every quarter and have a featured mini treat that will help raise funds.

“A lot of the reason we are in this position is because of the community support. We are here and ready to give back,” Miller shared.

According to the Alchemy Bake Lab website, “Alchemy is the medieval version of modern chemistry, based on the transformation of matter.” It goes on to say, “As sugar alchemists, we believe in baking with love + passion to create edible art.” There is no official word on when the new Alchemy Bake Lab storefront might open.
