The latest addition to the brand will be located at 2494 S. Gulf Freeway in League City, according to a recent project filing. Construction on the 1,900-square-foot coffee shop could wrap up this summer.

Jeff Hernandez and Daniel Brand co-founded Black Rock Coffee Bar in Portland, Oregon in 2008. The brand has found good traction in the Lone Star State with locations popping up across the Houston area and other Black Rock Coffee Bar locations opening in Austin, Dallas, and San Antonio.

The national boutique coffee shop is known for premium roasted coffees, teas, smoothies, and flavorful energy drinks. Hot or iced coffee favorites include Caramel Truffle and Irish Coffee. Classics such as Americano, drip coffee, and lattes are also available, plus hot chocolate, a variety of flavorful hot teas, and blended coffee drinks.
