The doors officially open next Friday, August 16, but one day before, they are giving their neighbors a free meal and matching guests’ monetary donations to Second Servings up to $1,000 at our Community Day preview event. In addition, CAVA is donating fresh meals to local community members through Iglesia Trinidad during our pre-opening training week.
CAVA is committed to helping people live and eat well, and to supporting its neighbors. Since 2019, the company’s nationwide Community Day program has donated more than $500,000 to over 60 non-profit organizations, with much of the funding aimed at improving food security. The company launched a national food donation program in fall 2023 to donate fresh, healthy, and delicious unused food prepared during each new restaurant’s training period to local community members. This work is part of our commitment to fighting hunger and reducing food waste.
The Second Servings event will be on August 15, 2024, from 10:45 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Guests must register for the Community Day event in advance here.
CAVA is located at 7017 Highway 6 N., Houston, TX 77095 in Copperfield Village.
