The filing lists Raj Gandhi as the tenant for the new Fulshear spot. Gandhi owns with his wife Ashley Gandhi the Cheba Hut that opened in Houston’s Sawyer Yards in April 2022. The new Fulshear Cheba Hut will be located in a nearly 2,200-square-foot space. Construction could wrap up in late summer 2023.

Cheba Hut was founded by Scott Jennings in 1998 and is dedicated to including locally sourced ingredients in its menu items. The menu features more than three dozen signature subs—buffalo chicken, spicy club, and French dip, to name a few. Vegetarian options are also available.

Other menu options include French Onion Soup, meatballs, Loaded Not’chos, Pretzel Nuggets, and Garlic Cheese Bread. For dessert, guests can try a variety of cereal and marshmallow treats and cookies. Teas, energy drinks, cocktails, craft brews, and more are available on the drink menu.
