Founders Mason Clark and Army Sadeghi, who launched the celebrated Clarkwood in January 2022, had long envisioned this extension. “The addition of The Clarkwood Courtyard Bar is a testament to our commitment to enhancing the guest experience while preserving the boutique, elegant charm that makes Clarkwood unique in Houston,” Sadeghi shared. The expansion offers not only increased capacity but also promises to maintain the bar’s signature ambiance of understated glamour.

Designed by Gin Design Group, The Courtyard Bar complements Clarkwood’s blend of classic elegance with a contemporary European twist. Awash in natural light, the new space features an orangerie-style enclosure, fixed seating, and a bar that seamlessly transitions between indoor and outdoor spaces.

Guests can expect the same expertly crafted cocktails Clarkwood is known for, with new patio-inspired drinks to usher in cooler fall evenings. This expansion reflects Clarkwood’s dedication to delivering exceptional experiences while maintaining its unique place in Houston’s boutique bar scene.

The Clarkwood Courtyard Bar at Clarkwood is expected to open in Fall 2024.
