Qiu told What Now Houston Feng Cha will be the first tenant at the space and will do a complete buildout. They hope to open in late November or early December depending on permitting and materials.

The Feng Cha in Conroe will be Qiu’s first location, but she has experience running a restaurant. Feng Cha offers smoothies, milk tea, Thai tea, boba tea, and more. You can try a Dirty Boba, which is filled with brown sugar boba and topped with cheese milk foam, or the Mango Au Lait with tropical flavors and fresh milk. You can also get a coffee cold brew, a fresh fruit tea, or a Chrysanthemum Ginger Honey Tea.

“For the beginning, we will just serve the drinks, and then later on, we are going to add a little bit of sandwiches, a little bit of noodle soup, and dim sum,” Qiu said. If all goes well with the Conroe Feng Cha location, Qiu could open another spot in Montgomery.

According to the Feng Cha website, “Our passion for making tea extends far beyond our drinks. All of our stores strive their best to provide a comfy teahouse experience to our customers.”
