A new shopping complex in Cypress has announced that it will open with four restaurants soon. Brady Latimer of SCM Reality Services has told What Now Houston that Barker Cypress Village will open with a Summer Moon Café, a Crust Pizza, a Jersey Mike’s Subs, and a Smoothie King. These businesses will begin opening to the public in 6 months.

The new complex will be at the corner of Barker Cypress Rd and West Rd, however an address has not been confirmed yet. It will feature two buildings with 16,900 sq ft of space. Additional businesses will be added soon. Reports mention a dental group and another restaurant as possible tenants. Latimer confirmed negotiations are still ongoing and more information will be released as new tenants are added.  

Summer Moon Coffee opened its first location in Austin in 2005. The have since expanded to over 30 locations across Texas. The specialty coffee chain takes a fire-roasted approach to cooking its coffee beans. www.summermooncoffee.com

Crust Pizza was founded in 2011 in The Woodlands and has seen explosive growth across the Greater Houston Area and into Louisiana. The chain serves Chicago style thin crust pizza, signature pastas, flatbread sandwiches, calzones, and salads. www.crustpizzaco.com

Jersey Mike’s Subs was founded in 1956 in Point Pleasant New Jersey. Today the chain features more than 2000 restaurants. They are known for cold and hot subs as well as wraps and salads. www.jerseymikes.com

Smoothie King features 1,300 stores globally. They specialize in nutritionally healthy smoothies made with whole fruits and organic vegetables. www.smoothieking.com
