Barkatali Maknojiya, a seasoned entrepreneur, is expanding his franchise empire with the addition of Great American Cookies at 2600 FM1764, La Marque, TX 77568. Known for his successful ownership of four Tutti Frutti Frozen Yogurt franchised locations within the Houston Metro, Maknojiya is now venturing into the cookie business, with this being the first of many planned locations.
Great American Cookies, a beloved brand known for its delicious array of freshly baked cookies, has been a staple in the American dessert landscape since 1977. Famous for its signature Cookie Cakes, brownies, and gourmet cookies, the brand offers a sweet treat for every occasion, making it a popular choice for families and dessert enthusiasts alike.
In an interview with Maknojiya, he expressed his excitement about the new venture. This will be his first location of the Great American Cookies franchise, and is thrilled to bring this iconic brand to La Marque. He also told What Now Houston that he is on the fast-track to get a second location in the work for somewhere in Texas City and is in the process of scoping out the new hotspot there.
“We’re currently working on the layout of this location,” Maknojiya said in regards to the status of the new cookie shop in La Marque. If all goes to plan, he is pushing for an end-of-August 2024 grand opening.
