Spring residents will soon be able to get fresh baked cookies and homemade ice cream at one delectable stop. What Now Houston has learned through official documents that a co-branded Great American Cookie and Marble Slab Creamery will be opening in Spring soon. The business will be located at 19507 IH 45 North, Suite 273 in the Shops at Cypresswood. The space is expected to cover 1,900 sq ft. An official opening date has not been announced yet.

Great American Cookie and Marble Slab Creamery began co-branding in 2020 with their first location in South Carolina. The dual chain concept has since expanded across the country. Both chains are owned by Fat Brands Incorporated. Fat Brands also owns chains such as Twin Peaks, Hot Dog on a Stick, Fazolis, and Johnny Rockets.

Great American Cookie is a shopping mall staple that was first opened in 1977. According to their website, Great American Cookie is still the home of the original cookie cake. They specialize in cookies and brownies of various sizes. Marble Slab Creamery opened its first location in 1983. They are known for using a frozen slab technique to serve their ice cream. They have an unlimited mix philosophy when it comes to their ice cream, milk shakes, and hand rolled waffle cones. Both chains maintain individual locations across the country as well.
