Construction on the Chipotle at 11710 South Fwy. in Houston could begin sometime this fall, according to a recent project filing. Chipotle is scheduled to open in the end cap of the building and will be just over 2,300 square feet. Construction could wrap up sometime in early 2024.

The menu of tacos, salads, and burritos offers diners a choice of protein options that include grilled chicken, carnitas, barbacoa, and the new Garlic Guajillo Steak. You can add rice, beans, and toppings such as lettuce, roasted chili-corn salsa, and shredded cheese. Guests can also order Burrito Bowls and Lifestyle Bowls, plus sides of guacamole, queso blanco, and salsa with chips are other options.

Chipotle has more than 70 locations across the Houston area with more than 3,000 in operation across the globe.
