Parekh is currently immersed in training to ensure the smooth opening of the Houston Metro location. The open kitchen concept is a big part of what drew him to the brand—customers can see exactly how their food is prepared that he believes is crucial in building trust and emphasizing his commitment to clean eating.
Hummus Republic is renowned for its concise and clean menu, offering a variety of protein-rich dishes and vegan options, all designed to cater to the growing demand for healthy dining alternatives. Parekh’s decision to open in the bustling Northwest Fwy area was strategic. He feels the area is vibrant, with a diverse crowd, and the food court setting being excellent visibility.
The upcoming location is set to undergo significant interior renovations that involves a $100,000 investment focused on interior tenant improvements to create a fresh, modern restaurant space. The renovation will transform 1,500 square feet into a vibrant, open-kitchen dining area that aligns with the brand’s commitment to clean and healthy eating.
Having signed on for a multi-unit deal, Parekh sees this first location as just the beginning. He wants to use this location to show off the brand and gather feedback before deciding where to expand next. Cleanliness and quality are at the heart of what the brand does, and he’s confident that Hummus Republic will resonate with the health-conscious food lovers of Houston.
With this expansion, Hummus Republic is poised to become a staple in Houston’s evolving food scene, offering a fresh and healthy dining experience that is both accessible and delicious. The work is scheduled to begin in October 2024, with completion expected for December 2024.
