A new Barcenas Mexican Kitchen will be opening soon in League City, What Now Houston has learned through official documents. While not much is known at this point, the restaurant will be located at 2508 Gulf FWY S. There was formerly a Prime Pizza in this location.

Barcenas Mexican Grill is a local business that first opened in 1998. They currently have two locations in the Greater Houston Area: one in Friendswood and one in La Marque. League City will be their third overall location. The chain serves a combination of traditional Tex-Mex and homemade Mexican food.

What Now Houston reached out to Barcenas Mexican Grill owner Josie Barcenas for comment. While she confirmed the new restaurant is coming soon, she also declined further comment at this time.
