Two Houston area Life Time locations will be adding pickleball courts to their list of fitness options. Life Time Champions on Willow Chase Blvd. in Houston and Life Time Sugar Land on Hwy. 6 will undergo renovations to add the pickleball courts to the luxury athletics clubs, according to recent project filings.
The Houston location will receive 12 courts with fencing at 24,000 square feet, while the Sugar Land club will get 13 courts with fencing for 28,000 additional square feet. According to the project filings, construction could begin this summer and wrap up in October. The Life Time website states that the pickleball courts are being added at other locations, as well, and construction should be complete for all centers by the end of 2023.
The Houston and Sugar Land locations feature one-day and monthly memberships. Members gain access to services that include a café featuring healthy eating options, a lounge, and a spacious fitness floor with a cardio, strength, and functional equipment.
Access to pools, steam rooms, and more are also offered to members. Studios for cycling, yoga, and Pilates classes are available, plus members have access to Kids Club for children of all ages.
