Second Houston Area Fat Boy’s Pizza Expected Summer 2023

Huge pizzas and more will be offered at this Louisiana-based pizza place.

Summer 2023 could be when the second Houston area’s Fat Boy’s Pizza begins offering its 30-inch pizzas to diners. The newest addition to the brand will be located in a nearly 3,900-square-foot space in Katy Grand at the intersection of Interstate 10 and Grand Parkway/TX 99 in Katy.

Gabe Corchiani and his wife, Karen, first opened Fat Boy’s Pizza in Metairie, Louisiana just a few years ago in 2019. According to the brand’s website, Corchiani wanted to created massive pies and bring them to New Orleans.

Fat Boy’s Pizza currently has six locations across Louisiana, one in Mississippi, and its first Texas spot, which opened this month in Richmond. QSR Magazine reported that the brand plans to expand across the Southeast over the next five years including in Alabama, Florida, and Georgia.

Diners can get a 30-inch pizza in a high-energy environment at Fat Boy’s Pizza. You could try The Hog with slow-cooked pulled pork, bacon, smoky hog sauce, red onions, pickled jalapeños, barbecue sauce, shredded mozzarella, and cheddar. Or, The Skinny Boy has fresh gulf shrimp, baby spinach, Roma tomatoes, artichoke hearts, garlic oil, and shredded mozzarella. You can also get a 10-inch pizza, 16-inch pizza, pizza by the slice, wings, stromobli, loaded waffle fries, meatball sliders, and salads.

If you’re in the mood for a challenge, Fat Boy’s Pizza has you covered. It’s called the 2ft Challenge, and all you have to do is eat an entire two-feet of pizza in seven minutes or less to receive a t-shirt and gift card, according to the brand’s website. If you beat the current 39-second record held by Joey Chestnut, you get $10,000! Good luck!
