With a focus on reviving the art of eating crêpes, the brand continues to expand, offering a scalable and profitable franchise opportunity for those passionate about hospitality.
The Keltons embarked on their journey with Sweet Paris in 2018, transitioning from successful corporate careers to first-time restaurant owners. Their passion for unique culinary experiences led them to Sweet Paris, a brand they had long admired. With the support of Sweet Paris’ seasoned leadership team, the Keltons’ first location in The Woodlands quickly thrived, prompting them to open a second location in Austin in 2020. Both establishments have flourished, making the couple eager to extend their success to the burgeoning community of Bridgeland in Cypress.
“This new location is a dream realized for Mary and I. Six years ago, we initially invested in a concept that we believed in and now we own two strong locations and are opening our third in the state,” said Mike Kelton. “As we embark on this new journey, we are eager to bring the successful model developed in collaboration with Sweet Paris to a prime community like Bridgeland, in Cypress.”
The Keltons are committed to fostering a community-centric culture at their new location, continuing their investment in local youth and development organizations. Their ability to connect with both customers and the local community has been a significant factor in their success, a sentiment echoed by Sweet Paris co-founder Allison Chavez. “The Keltons have been top performers in our system, largely attributed to their ability to connect with customers and the local community alike,” said Chavez. “We have complete confidence the Keltons will bring their enthusiastic spirit and hands on attitude to introduce the growing Bridgeland community to Sweet Paris.”
Sweet Paris Crêperie & Café is expanding rapidly nationwide, with 17 stores already operating across Texas, Florida, Minnesota, and Mexico. The brand has earned significant accolades, including features on Entrepreneur Magazine’s Top New and Emerging Franchises and Global Franchise Magazine’s 10 Emerging Leaders to Watch, highlighting the innovative leadership of co-founders Allison and Ivan Chavez.
The Kelton’s aim to have their new cafe open by the first quarter of 2025.
