The Crack Shack first opened in San Diego back in 2015 and now has locations across California and in Colorado, Nevada, and Utah. The spot at 23501 Cinco Ranch Blvd. in Katy is expected to open in early 2023.

“We’re incredibly excited to share our passion for high-quality food that’s accessible to everyone and unmatched hospitality with the Katy community,” said Dan Peña, Director of Operations, in a press statement. “Entering this new market allows us to form new local partnerships that foster the community — from relationships with local bakers, farmers and purveyors to support for schools and other organizations important to the neighborhood. That is a crucial component of our commitment as a brand as we expand, and Katy is no exception.”

The menu at The Crack Shack features a variety of sandwiches from the BAE that includes bacon, avocado, and a sunny side egg to the Caesar’s Chick with grilled Jidori chicken breast, caper mayo, pepperoncinis, and more on a brioche bun. Other menu options are bone-in fried chicken, chicken nuggets, bowls, and fries. For dessert, diners can enjoy cookies and seasonal shakes.
