The Pho Fix, which opened in 2021 at Underground Hall in Downtown Houston, is opening two brick-and-mortar locations. The Garden Oaks location will open at 1223 W. 34th St., C200 in Houston, possibly sometime in December. It will be a multi-story space where the second floor will serve as a prep area.

“We’re still going to have an open-style kitchen like what you see at the Underground,” said Kiet Duong, president of The Pho Fix.

Duong recently signed a lease to open another storefront in The Woodlands area. That restaurant will be located at 8850 Metropark Dr., Ste. 300 in Shenandoah. Duong also owns Crawfish Cafe and is expanding both restaurant concepts.

The Pho Fix will be serving menu items at pop-ups, while they wait to open at the two new locations. Pop-ups will be held at the Crawfish Cafe in Shenandoah and at the Crawfish Cafes in The Heights and on Bellaire Blvd. in Chinatown. You can keep up with the pop-ups on The Pho Fix or Crawfish Cafe social media pages.

At The Pho Fix, diners can choose ingredients and watch as the pho is prepared. The menu is simple. “We have a spring roll. We have The Pho Dip, which is super popular.” The Pho Dip features a sandwich made with a baked baguette, brisket, bone marrow butter, and vegetables served with a side of pho broth.

Daniel Chen with Houston Design Construction is the general contractor on The Pho Fix Houston location.
