The hot chicken chain has gained prominence on TikTok and other social media sites with videos of its food prep. With items a varied as Chickz Sandwich, Chickz n Feanch Toast, Chickz Loaded Wedges, and Chickz Tacos, the chain likes to put a west coast spin on this music city tradition. Items come in six different spice levels ranging from cool to inferno.

“We could not be happier to expand and share our unique take on Nashville Hot Chicken with more hungry customers in California and Texas,” Shawn Lalehzarian, Founder of The Red Chickz recently said. “The response to our mouth-watering content on Tik Tok has been overwhelmingly positive, with many users begging us to open locations in their cities, and we are so proud to have found franchise partners who will help us do just that.”

Lalehzarian founded The Red Chickz in 2018 in Los Angeles after taking a trip to Nashville to perfect his hot chicken recipe. He began franchising the company out in 2021.
