The first Tosca Italian Gourmet opened in The Woodlands in January 2022. “The business is going very well, so we decided to prove our business around Houston,” said Romina Marchisio, store manager.

One location is planned for 17823 Longenbaugh Dr., Ste. F in Cypress. They hope to open the Cypress spot in late spring. They are also opening a restaurant at Pine Market Plaza in Montgomery, which is tentatively set to open in late summer or early fall of 2023.

Tosca Italian Gourmet is an Italian bakery that offers a variety of pastries including croissants, cakes, and cinnamon rolls. “Our specialty is the focaccia bread. So, we have the focaccia sandwich with different Italian meat and cheese,” Marchisio said.

Dishes of meatballs and lasagna are prepared fresh each day with high-quality ingredients. Diners can also enjoy pizzas, breads, gelato, coffee, beer and wine. Tosca Italian Gourmet is also an Italian market. “We will have some pasta, some Italian wine, Italian sauce,” Marchisio explained.

“We are very, very excited because we are Italian, so for me, in just one year, the activity is going very well. The people love Italian food and love our food because it’s very fresh.”
