Toyama to Offer Sushi, Chinese Cuisine

This new Katy restaurant concept could open sometime in the spring of 2023.

A new Japanese restaurant concept is coming to Katy. Toyama will feature sushi, ramen, and Chinese cuisine on its menu.

This will be the first Toyama location, which is owned by Amber He. “We will have alcohol, but only sake, beer, and wine,” He told What Now Houston.

Toyama will feature indoor dining, as well as pickup and delivery options for the menu.

Toyama will be located at 1433 FM 1463, Ste. 600 in Katy. He said she hopes to open the restaurant in April or May of this year, but the opening depends on possible construction delays. The 1,800-square-foot space must undergo renovations before opening to the public.
