A Houston area catering company that began popping up around town to sell its barbecue and burgers is getting a brick-and-mortar. Zane’s Original Gourmet Burgers, BBQ & Brews is planning to open at 3300 Bayport Blvd., Ste. 60, in Seabrook sometime this year.
Zane’s Original handcrafted burgers are freshly ground from USDA Choice Brisket, and the “multi-grind process produces a superior texture and flavor profile,” stated the company’s website. The half-pound burgers are served on freshly baked brioche buns with a side of house-made chips. Upgraded sides made fresh daily include potato salad, coleslaw, and baked mac ‘n cheese.
Some Zane’s Original burger choices include the Brunch Burger with a fried egg and applewood smoked bacon, the Pork Belly BLT, and the All American Burger. The menu also includes meats that have been smoked with a blend of post oak and pecan wood—pulled pork, beef brisket, and turkey breast.
The interior buildout for the 2,200-square-foot space could begin later this month, according to a recent project filing. Construction could be complete in May, but there’s no official word on when Zane’s Original will open to the public.
