According to a recent project filing, the new Underbelly Burger at 1222 Witte Rd. would open in fall of 2023. Another of the hospitality company’s concepts, Wild Oats, will also open at the Spring Branch development, which will feature greenspace and outdoor seating.

Underbelly Burger first opened at the Houston Farmers Market in response to the hospitality group’s approach to honoring the whole animal. The restaurant is a family-friendly concept that features burgers made with fresh, quality ingredients. Diners can also enjoy fries, milkshakes, local brews, and more.

The burger joint’s new location will feature indoor dining in a more than 1,300-square-foot space, as well as a patio and a walk-up window for to-go orders.
