“It’s always been a dream of ours to open a business for our family that would become a staple in the community. The flavor of Summer Moon’s oak roasted coffee knocked us off our feet, and add in a little Moon Milk—we were hooked,” said Kim Molina, co-owner of the franchise location in Spring. Moon Milk is Summer Moon’s signature sweet cream.

Molina owns the location at 3917 Woodson Reserve Pkwy., Ste. 100 in Spring with her husband, Daniel Molina. “Summer Moon is a Texas company through and through, just like us! In our first meeting we could see the brand had a passion for their product and a heart for their family. We knew it was the right fit for us,” Kim told What Now Houston in an email.

“Opening in Spring is a dream. We are both native Houstonians, and Spring is such an established and yet still growing part of the city.” She said they think the area of Woodson’s Reserve and 99 by Grand Oaks High School is a vibrant community in need of more places for people of all ages to gather. “We are looking forward to giving Spring the first Summer Moon in the Northeast Houston area. We can’t wait to plant our roots in Spring and grow alongside it.”

Kim said they promise to provide the best in Texas hospitality at the new location, and they can’t wait to meet their neighbors. “Our Summer Moon Coffee will provide a cozy atmosphere to enjoy a quality cup of coffee, gather with friends, study, fellowship, and create memories.”

The Summer Moon menu is extensive with lattes, Nitro Cold Brews, and blended drinks, among other options. Kim said the younger clientele enjoy the frozen hot chocolate. The drink and food menu varies by location, but you can expect pastries as an option. “We can’t wait for our community to come in and discover their favorite Summer Moon signature drinks!”
