The Blind Goat, a concept from MasterChef winner Christine Ha, is a modern, Vietnamese gastropub with plans to open a second Houston location this fall. According to a Facebook post, the newest location for The Blind Goat at 8141 Longpoint Rd. could open sometime in October or possibly November, depending on potential construction delays.

Construction recently began at the Spring Branch space, which will need a complete build out into the restaurant. The Blind Goat first opened in 2019 at 409 Travis St. inside Bravery Chef Hall in Houston. It was Ha’s first restaurant.

“At The Blind Goat, we want to foster a vibrant atmosphere, a casual eatery where you can grab a bite or beverage with friends, family, and colleagues. It is a place to kick back, enjoy the everyday, and celebrate the joys in life, both big and small,” stated the restaurant’s website.

The Blind Goat menu offers a variety of Vietnamese fare including spring rolls and egg rolls. Fried Chicken Bao is crispy bao with buttermilk fried chicken, cooling tiger salad, and The Blind Goat’s sticky sauce. You could also try Texas BBQ Brisket Fried Rice or a variety of bowls including Chicken Curry with Rice or Grilled Lemongrass Chicken with Vermicelli.
