CIEL, which means sky in French, was inspired by landmark hotspots along the French Riviera, and the stylish space will offer guests a sophisticated dining experience. “CIEL is unlike anything I have worked on previously, and I am inspired by the vision of its ownership,” said Geiskopf, in a press statement.

Geiskopf focuses on fresh and sustainable seafood and believes ingredients should be prepared with components from the native land and sea from which they were harvested to reach their fullest flavors. His goal is to establish a strong sense of place with food and ensure memorable dining experiences.

CIEL will also offer world-class music and entertainment. The CIEL Facebook page states, “It’s not just a restaurant, it’s a party you don’t want to miss.” CIEL is located at 4411 San Felipe St. in Houston’s River Oaks District.
