An authentic Indian street food restaurant offering 40-50 different egg dishes will open soon in Sugar Land. EggHolic franchisor Lay Patel told What Now Houston they hope to open the Sugar Land location at 232 Highway 6, Ste. 100 sometime during the second quarter of 2023.
EggHolic is going into new construction in Sugar Land, so they’ve had to do a lot of work to the nearly 2,000-square-foot space to get it ready for the public.
The menu features Indian-style curries, sandwiches, vegetarian options, rice dishes, chicken dishes, omelets, and more. Despite featuring so many egg dishes, EggHolic is not open during the early morning hours.
“Our eggs are for dinner, not for breakfast. We are not open for breakfast,” Patel said. “It’s a really unique and different concept. The good thing about our concept is everything is made to order, and everything is made fresh every day.”
EggHolic first opened in Chicago in 2018 and has been expanding across the country. The Sugar Land location will be the first for the Houston area, but the state of Texas has one location currently in operation in Irving. EggHolic is also open in New Jersey, New York, Kentucky, as well as other states, plus Canada.
