Hong Kong Food Street, known for its authentic Asian flavors and bustling atmosphere, was a staple in its previous location. Its closure left a void in the hearts of its regular patrons and Asian cuisine aficionados. However, Cheung, undeterred by the setback, embarked on a quest to find a new home for his culinary vision. His persistence paid off and his excitement was palpable as he confirmed the relocation with What Now Houston.

Cheung, however, remains tight-lipped about any other details, but documents from the permitting process reveal intriguing insights. With an estimated cost of $450,000, the new construction will showcase a first-time interior build-out of a restaurant, signaling a significant investment in both quality and ambiance.

Spanning an impressive 3,786 square feet, the new Hong Kong Food Street promises to be a culinary haven. The space, meticulously designed for a vibrant dining experience, will undoubtedly capture the essence of its predecessor while infusing it with a fresh, modern twist. The restaurant’s revival is not just a win for Cheung but a testament to the resilience and passion that define the culinary world.

And with a new location comes a new website, but not until more details are ready for release. Those looking to keep up with the restaurant’s progress can follow their Facebook Page in the meantime.

No opening time frame is currently available, but the project is set to kick off in March 2024, with a completion by October 2024.
