With a casual Americana design and cuisine, Hudson House River Oaks offers straightforward and timeless dishes, coastal signature items, and indulgent favorites. Expect an all-American lunch and dinner menu alongside a raw bar, specializing in East Coast oysters flown in fresh daily. Hudson House also brings its Weekend Brunch and Happy Hour on weekdays from 3-6 pm. Menu highlights include The Cheeseburger, Chicken Parm, French Chicken, Lobster Roll, Fish Tacos, Sushi and Steak Frites. On the cocktail menu, the “World’s Coldest Martini” keeps the neighborhood returning for more — Hudson House is known for its icy martinis, vigorously shaken, served in a frozen glass.

The Houston Hudson House has an airy dining room filled with natural light; warm honey wood and plush navy leather booths; brass and opal glass light fixtures; and greenery reminiscent of New England style and architecture. The state-of- the-art raw bar and brunch program are inspired by neighborhood joints of the West Village in New York City.

Vandelay Hospitality Group’s expansion into Houston will continue with Drake’s Hollywood—a lively Hollywood-inspired restaurant and lounge— opening in Houston’s Montrose neighborhood (1100 Westheimer Rd) before the end of the year. Expect a menu featuring premier steaks focused on wagyu and prime cuts of beef, a Melrose cracker-crust pizza section, and American classics.

Vandelay Hospitality Group’s succession of establishments throughout major cities and neighborhoods include Hudson House (Dallas, Los Angeles, Houston, and soon-to-come Fort Worth), Drake’s Hollywood (Dallas, Los Angeles, and soon-to-come Houston), Anchor Sushi Bar, D.L. Mack’s, Brentwood, East Hampton and Slider & Blues.

Hudson House River Oaks is open from 11am – 10pm, and Happy Hour is offered from 3-6pm daily, at the bar only, including Martinis & Bellinis, plus the Cheeseburger & East Coast Oysters. Weekend Brunch is offered on Saturdays and Sundays beginning at 10am.
