AllyAnne, whose name graces the bakery, brings a background as rich and varied as the flavors of her kitchen. From nanny work to carpentry, AllyAnne’s journey is a testament to her hands-on approach and creative spirit. “I love working with my hands,” she shares. This passion is set to manifest in every corner of the bakery, from handcrafted furniture to the intricate design of each pastry.
Jeff, a Magnolia native with a career in pipeline construction, has always harbored a dream of business ownership. After marrying AllyAnne, he realized that her exceptional baking skills could be the key to realizing this dream. Their partnership in life now extends into entrepreneurship, marking their first venture into the business world as a team.
AllyAnne’s Kolache Kitchen will specialize in both sweet and savory kolaches, accompanied by a curated selection of coffee and breakfast drinks. These Czech-inspired pastries, beloved for their versatility and flavor, are the heart of the bakery’s menu.
The bakery is set to occupy a 1,490-square-foot space, currently under renovation with an estimated cost of $185,000. Plans for the interior include a cozy seating area, a hallway, a single bathroom, and a storage room, all designed to welcome patrons into a warm and inviting atmosphere.
