Lightnin’s Good Times is decked out in vintage neon, with pool tables, darts, pinball machines, and TVs to watch all the games and also has a large covered patio. Look out for live music acts, DJs, and bands throughout the week. On any bar-hopping night or game day out, the joint also offers hot slices from Vinny’s next door.

“With so much action – from sports games to entertainment and nightlife happening in EaDo, we wanted to create a space that would match the energy and needs of the area, while maintaining our standards of beverage and hospitality” say owners Morgan Weber, Vincent Huynh, and Ryan Pera in a statement. “With Vinny’s next door and our soon-to-open Tex Mex concept around the corner, we’re proud to continue our investment in one of Houston’s most exciting neighborhoods.”

This is Agricole Hospitality’s third concept to open within the past year, following EZ’s Liquor Lounge in the Heights neighborhood last October, and a second location of Eight Row Flint, a modern ice house concept, in the East End neighborhood in February.

Focused on easy-drinking cocktails, cold beers, and signature shots, the beverage menu mirrors the party vibe of the bar. Classics like Margaritas and Ranch Waters are complemented by creations like Lightnin’s Gin & Tonic (The LGT) and Henny-Things Possible made with Hennessy Cognac, Apricot, Lemon Juice, & Champagne. With easy access to Vinny’s Pizza, guests can grab a slice to enjoy within the space.

Lightnin’s Good Times is open Monday through Friday from 2pm to 2am and on Saturday and Sunday from 11am to 2am.
