The space would be demolished for construction of the new sweetgreen, the document stated. The new sweetgreen space would be about 3,000 square feet and could open sometime in spring of 2023.

The brand’s Facebook page stated that sweetgreen’s mission “is to build healthier communities, by connecting people with real food.” Working with trusted partners and farmers, the company offers fresh ingredients for scratch-made menu items.

The menu offers warm bowls with blackened chicken and a variety of fresh salads including the Peach + Goat Cheese, the Guacamole Greens, and the Kale Caesar. Diners can add summer veggies, rosemary focaccia, or roasted sweet potatoes as a side. If you’re looking for something to quench your thirst, you can try a Spindrift sparkling water or several flavors of kombucha and tea.

Dedicated to sustainability, sweetgreen has pledge to become carbon neutral by the end of 2027. “Our plant-forward menu means that we’re already on average 30% less carbon intensive than the average American meal,” stated sweetgreen’s website.
