The Houston spot will be located at 2910 McKinney St., Ste. 300 in East Downtown. According to a recent project filing, the existing location will undergo a buildout for the restaurant and bar in a 4,300-square-foot space.

The Austin and Fort Worth food menu includes sliders, wings, specialty sandwiches, tots, and fries. The bar menu features a variety of draft beer, cans and bottles, wine by the glass, and mixed drinks. Specialty cocktails such as the Painkiller, Singapore Sling, and Bahama Mama, plus Green Tea, Mexican Candy Shot, and Surfer on Acid shooters are also available to guests ages 21 and up.

Nickel City is owned by Travis Tober, Craig Primozich, and Via 313 co-founders—brothers Zane and Brandon Hunt. The latest addition to Nickel City could open in Houston sometime in the spring of 2023, according to the project filing.
