The brand’s first location in Sugar Land opened in 2017, and then expanded to the Washington Heights area in March 2021. When the opportunity came up to take on the Shepherd Drive location, the co-owners deliberated and ultimately decided it was a great move. The decision was influenced by the overwhelming support from their dedicated fans, who have played a crucial role in the brand’s expansion.
The new Shepherd Drive location promises to stay true to Pacific Coast Tacos‘ culinary identity, which draws inspiration from the Pacific Coast and Pacific Rim. With a focus on fresh proteins, vegetables, and fruits, the menu boasts bold protein marinades, scratch-made sauces, and salsas prepared daily. Unique offerings like the Pacific Octopus Taco and Pork Banh Mi Taco served on jicama tortillas provide a refreshing dining experience. The beverage menu is equally ambitious, featuring specialty cocktails crafted with scratch-made agaves, tinctures, freshly squeezed fruits, and house-infused spirits.
The Wards are ensuring that the new location will enhance the guest experience with updated design elements and modern amenities such as kiosk ordering systems. Lincoln shared insights into their journey during an interview, highlighting the brand’s organic growth and future plans. “There are opportunities for a fourth location, and we’ll likely decide on it by the end of 2024,” Lincoln told What Now Houston.
With a tentative late August 2024 opening, Pacific Coast Tacos is preparing the third location for its continued commitment to delivering high-quality, innovative dishes in a welcoming atmosphere for patrons. As they continue to evolve, fans can look forward to even more exciting developments from this dynamic duo.
