This is a new concept for Zo-Zo Fresh in which the multi-unit facility at 11709 Boudreaux Rd., Unit 240, Tomball, TX 77375 will feature a large commercial kitchen for production to continue selling at farmers’ markets, as well as office space for sampling and pickup and the restaurant space for nutritious juices. “We’ll also offer things like coffees, healthy snacks, salads,” said Ana Taggart, owner of Zo-Zo Fresh.

Zo-Zo Fresh will serve other healthy menu items such as yogurt parfait and will begin to offer soups in a jar this fall. “We’re all plant-based. We do a lot of vegan and vegetarian items,” Taggart said.

“Our concept of juicing is a little bit different because we actually use our pulp, our byproduct from juicing, and make other things with it.” For example, when their nut milk is strained, Zo-Zo Fresh uses the nuts to make healthy protein balls. “That way, not only do we offer healthy options, we also actually use sustainable practices. We don’t throw things away. We try to reuse as much of the produce and products we have. We’re just very creative with it.”

Zo-Zo Fresh also develops teas, soaps, and scrubs from byproducts from juicing. Top soil is also created from the business’s compost.

“What we want to focus on is healthy, local, organic, and sustainable,” Taggart said. Zo-Zo Fresh, which partners with local farmers and vendors, grew its juicing business during the Pandemic. “I found that at the markets, it’s a really good way to connect with customers,” Taggart said. She wants to continue that tactic. “We put our name out there, so people know who we are and what we do, and we have a much wider reach with the markets versus one location.”

They are still working to finish out the space in Tomball, but Taggart hopes to open to the public sometime in July. Christian Goedde, managing partner of RSC Riverside Construction, is overseeing the development of the property.

Taggart is also a health coach and wants to educate more people about living a healthy lifestyle. “It’s not just about selling the product, but it’s also about helping people find their healthy goals and reach their healthy goals.”

The long-term plan for Taggart is to develop the same concept in other areas. Zo-Zo Fresh locations like the one in Tomball could pop up soon in The Heights, Katy, and other Houston area cities.
