A franchise that offers Philly cheesesteaks and loaded fries is opening in Katy. Charleys Philly Steaks and Wings franchisee Phana Hok told What Now Houston that they are currently in the permitting process but hope to open sometime later this year, possibly in August or September.
Charleys will be located in the Grand Morton Town Center at 22811 Morton Ranch Rd., Suite 120 in Katy. According to a recent project filing, the 1,300-square-foot space will require a finish-out before it’s ready to open to the public. Hok also operates a Charleys inside the Walmart in Crosby.
Charleys has been popping up across the Houston area in recent months offering its menu of cheesesteaks made with steak and chicken, plus wings. Charleys also offers French fries topped with ingredients such as cheese and bacon.
Tea and soda, as well as several flavors of lemonade are available to diners. The lemonade is made with real fruit and cane sugar.
