When asked about the decision to expand to Houston, Berman expressed enthusiasm for the city and its potential as a market. “We had met the partners’ development and loved their visions, and we love Houston as a market as it is a fast-growing metropolitan area. We look for similar demographics for where our brand would fit.” Noble 33 first started in Los Angeles and then ventured into Scottsdale. The company understands the importance of selecting the right location for their unique concepts.

The restaurant landscape in Houston has been thriving, and Berman recognized that Houston was at the top of their list due to its status as the fifth-largest metropolitan city in the United States. Additionally, he saw great opportunities in the city and recognized the vast size of the market. Berman’s own incredible experience in the restaurant industry gives him confidence in Houston’s potential.

Despite their success, Berman emphasized a humble approach when entering a new market. “Our approach is to come in and add to the overwhelming sophisticated market with our own twist and style,” he explained. Noble 33 aims to carefully and thoughtfully integrate their concept into the local dining scene.

Meduza Mediterrania is a true Mediterranean dining experience that Berman has been passionate about since the creation of even Toca Madera. “I love Mediterranean food,” he enthused. “Grains, legumes, salad, fresh fish, great proteins, etc. The style of food is very similar to Mexican food. It’s centered around sharing the experience with family and friends.” Berman highlighted the creative flexibility of Mediterranean cuisine, which will be showcased in the menu, blending traditional Mediterranean flavors with Eastern influences. With a blend of French technique and Japanese precision, the menu promises to be both sophisticated and approachable.

The first Meduza Mediterrania location will launch in Manhattan’s Meatpacking District prior to the Houston opening. The Houston restaurant is scheduled to open its doors in November 2023, boasting a capacity of approximately 250 guests. With Tosh Berman’s vision and Noble 33’s track record of success, Houston diners can anticipate a remarkable dining experience that seamlessly fuses Mediterranean cuisine with innovative twists, all within the heart of the city.
