Randy Hines and wife Lucy purchased Kolache Shoppe from Erwin in 2014, according to the Kolache Shoppe website. They have been growing the brand since then including adding franchise locations. Luis and Cecilia Rey are the franchisees for the Pearland location.

The Pearland location is expected to open sometime this summer at 11940 Broadway St., Ste. 170. The 1200-square-foot space will be similar to the bright design of the Heights and Kingwood locations. The website states the Pearland restaurant will include warm wood accents, white subway tile, and a drive-thru for convenient ordering.

The menu includes a variety of kolaches including sausage, ham and cheese, and brisket, egg, and cheddar. Sweet kolaches come in a variety of flavors including apple, cream cheese, peach, and Nutella. Drinks include drip coffee, lattes, espresso, tea, and more.
