Co-owned with his uncle Charles Bryan and aunt Kelly Bryan, Scruggs shared the family’s journey towards selecting Mont Belvieu for their next Beaky’s hot spot. They were eyeing the area for a while and scouting for the perfect spot that resonated with their vision of community and family-oriented dining. When the opportunity at Eagle Drive presented itself, they knew it was the right move. The decision to expand was influenced by the brand’s successful formula of combining mouth-watering chicken recipes with a warm, welcoming atmosphere that feels like home.
The Mont Belvieu location is not just another pin on the map for Beaky’s; it represents a significant investment in the future of the brand and the community it aims to serve. With an estimated cost of $250,000, the new establishment will undergo a comprehensive build-out to transform a 2,436 square foot vacant shell space in a one-story strip mall into a bustling hub of culinary delight.
Looking beyond this upcoming new location, Scruggs hinted at more plans for the future. After their second location is up and running smoothly, they will start looking towards opening a third. But there’s no rush as they want to ensure each new restaurant retains the family-owned feel and dedication to quality that their customers have come to expect.
