They are still waiting on construction of the space at 449 S Loop 336 W, Ste. 700, but it should be turned over to the Wisnoskis in January to prepare for opening. They hope to have a grand opening in February.
Bryan works in the oil and gas industry, and Jessica has experience in restaurants and the corporate world. The idea to open a Cold Stone Creamery came to them when their daughter mentioned wanting to enjoy some ice cream after eating a meal. “If we’re going to do something like this, let’s do it now,” she said.
“Anything new is a little bit scary, but it’s exciting. All of our friends and community have been so supportive,” she said. “We want to be really strong in the community.”
Jessica and Bryan recently wrapped up a two-week training in Chicago to learn the business side, everyday operations, and the menu. Cold Stone Creamery offers an extensive menu of sweet treats. “They have so many different options, and of course, their waffle bowls are just heavenly,” Jessica said.
You can try Signature Creations such as The Whole Snickerdoodle Caboodle, Birthday Cake Remix, and Cookie Mintster, or you can create your own. You can get themed ice cream cakes and cupcakes, ice cream sandwiches and pies, smoothies and shakes, and sorbet. “The ice cream speaks for itself. I love the sorbets,” she said. “The ice cream cakes, that’s what was really cool to me.”
The Conroe location will feature indoor seating, and the Wisnoskis are working with the management company to possibly have some benches outdoors to sit and enjoy some ice cream.
