Located at 9945 Barker Cypress Road, Suite 129 in Cypress, Hopdoddy will kick off the celebration by giving away a free burger to the first 100 people in line at 11 a.m. on opening day. Guests can also enter to win free burgers for a year by sharing a post or story from their opening-day visit on Instagram, tagging @hopdoddy and using #hopdoddylove.

The new 3,400 square foot design features an indoor-outdoor bar and a patio where guests can dine al fresco. Guests can also sip on margaritas, draft cocktails and local craft beer while enjoying The Boardwalk’s free concerts and children’s play area.

Hopdoddy was born in the live music capital of the world, so music plays a large role in the restaurant. The walls are adorned with live music art by photographer Matt Lankes. Proceeds from the sales of Hopdoddy’s Goodnight/Good Cause burger benefit Tuned In, a platform that amplifies local musicians by giving career-changing grants.

“Hopdoddy has had a warm welcome from Houston, and we’re excited to bring our unique burgers and shareable fries to Cypress,” said Hopdoddy CEO Jeff Chandler in a statement. “The Boardwalk hosts local musicians every weekend, and since music is a part of our DNA, we couldn’t think of a more perfect location. We look forward to welcoming our fans when we open the doors on February 20!”

Digital menu boards will showcase Hopdoddy’s menu featuring mindfully sourced ingredients, including humanely and sustainably raised Certified Piedmontese Beef, Force of Nature 100% grass-fed, regenerative bison and cage-free chicken from Red Bird Farms. Hopdoddy also caters to a variety of diets with a vegetarian black bean and corn patty, a 100% plant-based patty from Beyond Meat and a dedicated Gluten-Free menu. Burgers are served on one of three different house-baked buns or as a bowl on a bed of fresh house greens.

Hopdoddy will be open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
