Hungry Howie’s, the originator of the Flavored Crust pizza franchise, is continuing to expand with existing franchisee Pizza with a Purpose with the announcement of its third location in Katy, Texas, that opened in March. Located at 6940 Katy Gaston Road, this newest Hungry Howie’s location will celebrate its grand opening starting Monday, April 17 with exclusive promotions including free pizzas for the first 50 orders placed and a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Tuesday, April 18.
“The Katy community has welcomed the Hungry Howie’s brand with its fresh made dough and Flavored Crust pizzas, and we’re excited to have another location in the Houston market that we opened in March,” said Christopher Thompson, Hungry Howie’s franchisee of Pizza with a Purpose in a statement. “Having roots from Michigan, it has been an honor to build the Hungry Howie’s brand presence in the Houston market. It’s important to us to offer a space where employees are appreciated and can explore their passion for pizza. As the brand celebrates its 50th Anniversary this year, we’re eager to kick off our week-long celebration with the Katy community.”
Hungry Howie’s newest Katy location grand opening celebrations include:
- Monday, April 17: The first 50 orders willeach receive a free pizza certificate for a future order
- Tuesday, April 18: Store ribbon cutting ceremony at 9 a.m.
- Wednesday, April 19: 10% of total sales that day will be donated to Hubenak Elementary
- Week-long Promotion: 50% off any pizza at regular menu price (online carryout orders only)
The newest location in Katy serves Hungry Howie’s menu featuring its Flavored Crust pizza options and selection of oven-baked subs, Howie Bread, fresh salads, Howie Wings, No Dough Bowls, and dessert. The location also offers curbside pick-up,drive thru, traditional in-store takeout services, and delivery to surrounding areas.
Hungry Howie’s began as a 1,000-square-foot hamburger shop in Taylor, Michigan that has since turned into a carry-out and delivery pizza chain. Today, the originators of the Flavored Crust pizza franchise has expanded to 535 locations across the country. Hungry Howie’s specializes in offering 8 free Flavored Crust options – Butter, Asiago Cheese, Cajun, Butter Cheese, Sesame, Garlic Herb, Ranch, and Italian Herb.
