Tu has an impressive background in both the culinary and financial worlds. Owning other popular establishments like 93-Til in the River Oaks/Museum District, South X Saigon which serves Vietnamese-Cajun fusion, Boiling Dragon in Pearland, and Dan’s Seafood and Wings, Tu’s contribution to the Houston culinary scene is noteworthy. Before entering the restaurant business, he worked as a tax consultant for just under a decade.

The opportunity to become a part of Pho Saigon’s success came unexpectedly for Tu. In a recent interview, he expressed to What Now Houston,”I really respect and admire my partner, Mechelle Tran. She presented the opportunity and I jumped on board. I wasn’t even looking for any opportunities at the time, but couldn’t pass it up,” said Tu.

Pho Saigon’s reputation for quality and authenticity can be seen in their varied menu, offering traditional Vietnamese dishes, including a variety of Pho – Vietnam’s national dish. Details of their offerings can be found on their website at Pho Saigon Noodle House.

The opening time frame is set for November/December 2023.
