FSC Franchise Co., the holding company behind popular brands like Beef O Brady’s and The Brass Tap, is known for its successful ventures in the restaurant industry. When choosing Kingwood for the latest Brass Tap location, Elliott stated, “It’s a really good area of Houston, and is underserved for what we do.”

What The Brass Tap does is offer a unique experience for beer enthusiasts. According to their website, they focus on sourcing a significant portion of their offerings from local breweries. Elliott shared that the brand always strives to find as many local breweries from the area as possible, aiming to include at least 25 of the 60 beers they serve. By embracing the local breweries and offering a wide range of selections, The Brass Tap provides a genuine, community-centered experience for beer lovers.

This Kingwood location is part of a broader expansion strategy for The Brass Tap. Besides opening second and third locations in Austin this year, there are plans for eight more locations in the Houston area, with two already in Kingwood. Elliott expressed that the company will continue to expand as the interest builds for the brand.

The opening time frame is expected for November 2023.
