This expansion into the Houston area represents a strategic move for P. Terry’s, encapsulating years of planning to ensure that the brand’s unique culture and commitment to quality are seamlessly integrated into the new market. A specialized operations team, comprising members from established markets in Austin and San Antonio, will be tasked with instilling the P. Terry’s culture and vision among the new location’s staff. Over eighty new crew members will be introduced to the chain’s ethos of providing high-quality, fresh products at an affordable price, underscored by exceptional service and a welcoming environment for both guests and team members.

The design of the new P. Terry’s location in Richmond is as thoughtful as its menu, featuring the chain’s signature ‘Googie’ architecture. The stand will boast a double drive-thru, a spacious 2,700 square foot dining area with seating for 68 guests, and an inviting exterior patio complete with a sandbox for younger visitors. Architectural highlights include natural quarried stone, red steel columns reminiscent of the chain’s iconic straws, and PT green stucco, mirroring the famous P. Terry’s cup.

The design ensures that guests can enjoy their meals in a space that is as aesthetically pleasing as it is comfortable. Moreover, the open kitchen concept allows diners a transparent view of their meals being prepared, reinforcing P. Terry’s commitment to freshness and quality. From black angus beef burgers to fresh-cut Idaho Burbank fries, each menu item underscores the chain’s dedication to delivering top-notch, freshly made fare to its patrons.

As P. Terry’s Burger Stand prepares to introduce its renowned dining experience to the Houston area, both new and longtime fans alike are filled with anticipation. With its commitment to quality, culture, and community, P. Terry’s is set to make a memorable mark on Richmond in Fall 2024.
