Via 313 was founded by brothers Brandon and Zane Hunt in 2011 with the mission to bring their hometown pizza to Texas. Serving Detroit-style pizza, cocktails and beyond, the new Houston restaurant will host a ribbon cutting at 10:45 a.m., have a prize table all day, and donate 25% of its proceeds to Houston Children’s Charity on grand opening day.

“Via 313 has always been about more than just great pizza, and our grand opening celebration will be even more special as we support the incredible work of Houston Children’s Charity,” said Zane Hunt in a statement. “We look forward to giving back to the community that has welcomed us with open arms and seeing them join us for a slice of Detroit in the heart of Houston.”

A soft opening will be held from Monday, March 4, to Thursday, March 7 — with a different promotion each weekday.

“We’re stoked to bring Via 313 to Houston,” said Brandon Hunt. “Houston residents have been asking for this for a long time, and the city’s energy and food scene perfectly match our Detroit-style vibes. It’s an exciting chapter in our journey, and we can’t wait to share our love for amazing pizza with the awesome folks here — get ready for a tasty ride.”

Located near the Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center and The Shops at Memorial City, Via 313 will operate Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. The new restaurant opening will mark the Austin-based brand’s 12th location in Texas and 18th systemwide.
