Lukkaew Srasrisuwan, who has already made significant strides in the Houston restaurant scene with the success of Kin Dee, M Express Thai Kitchen, and MaKiin, is branching out once again. Kin Dee, her first endeavor, opened in Spring 2020 and quickly became renowned for its authentic, scratch-made Thai dishes, including its signature handcrafted flower dumplings and traditional street food. The momentum from Kin Dee’s success led to the launch of M Express Thai Kitchen in April 2023, a cloud kitchen concept focusing on Thai/American fusion dishes for delivery and take-out. Not resting on her laurels, Srasrisuwan then introduced MaKiin in October 2023, offering a sophisticated dining experience with dishes reminiscent of those served to Thai royalty.

Thai Tail aims to blend the best aspects of its predecessors by featuring a mix of M Express’s popular fusion dishes and Kin Dee’s casual signature offerings. The fast-casual setting will be complemented by a redesigned space offering ample seating for diners and efficient take-away options. In a nod to the contemporary, Thai Tail will also serve a variety of Thai-inspired cocktails, available for take-out, adding a fun twist to the dining experience. This new venture is not just a restaurant; it’s a journey into the heart of Thailand’s culinary traditions, reimagined for the fast-paced lifestyle of Houston food enthusiasts.

With Thai Tail, MaKiin Concepts continues to expand its culinary footprint, inviting Houston diners to explore new realms of Thai flavors in a casual yet refined setting. For those eager to embark on this flavorful journey, further details can be found at Thai Tail’s website. As MaKiin Concepts grows, so does its commitment to bringing authentic Thai cuisine and innovative dining concepts to the Houston area, cementing its place as a leader in the city’s vibrant food scene.

This new fast-casual Thai concept is gearing up to open in May 2024.
