What Now Houston has learned from official documents that The Rabbit Hole HTX is moving to a new location. Ian Frascati, co-owner of this intimate bar concept, confirmed in a brief conversation with What Now Houston that the new location will be 740 25th Street in Houston. It was formerly announced in May 2021 that the bar would be located in Houston Heights at 1317 E. 29th Street.

While not much has been revealed about the new location, Frascati and his partner, William Daniel, raised $328,800 through a Netseed campaign to refurbish the former location—a 1920s bungalow near Airline Drive and I-610. The bar was originally planned to open in January 2022.

Their campaign billed the concept as “an upcoming destination for wine, beer, and craft cocktails in Houston’s Heights neighborhood and an in-house kitchen.” Revenue streams would come from both alcohol and food services. No reason has been given for the change of address or when the new Rabbit Hole location will open.
